2013 Schedule of Events

The Scott County Park & Golf Course is pleased to again offer three Golf leagues in 2013:

  • Industrial League registration is underway and will begin play on April 23 - July 30 every Tuesday weather permitting. For information or to register, call (276) 452-2442.
  • Open League registration is underway with play beginning May 2 - July 11 every Thursday (weather permitting). For information or to register, call (276) 452-2442.

Fees for the Industrial & Open leagues are: $60 per player for the season and $6 cart fee per player per round. All teams are made up of four-persons playing a Select Shot Format.

NOTE: All golfers must be on site and ready to play 15 minutes prior to the 6 p.m. "Shotgun Start" for all league play.

  • Junior Golf League registration is currently underway with play beginning June 12 - July 17 on every Wednesday (weather permitting). Fees are: $30 per player or $50 per family. For information call (276) 452-2442.

JUNIOR GOLF SCHEDULE

  • SCP&GC Junior Golf clinics and Junior Golf League - June 12, 19, 26, July 10, 17; July 24 make-up day. (All dates fall on a Wednesday)

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

3rd Scott County Park & Golf Course Spring Swing will be held May 4 & 5. This will be a two (2) man team tournament. Teams will be flighted after the first day; however, scoring will be reset for the second day! The first day will be played as BEST BALL, the second day will be played as SELECT SHOT. Costs are $60 per player/$120 per team, and food will be provided both days. For more information, contact (276) 452-2442.

2013 Junior Tournaments

  • Aug 17 - 14th Annual Scott County Virginia Star Summer Slam. Aug 9 registration deadline.
  • NOTE - Divisions offered:
    • Boys 12's, 14's, 16's, 18's singles
    • Girls 12's, 14's, 16's, 18's singles

2013 Adult Doubles Tournament - ONE-DAY EVENT:

  • Aug 17 - 14th Annual Scott County Virginia Star Doubles Summer Slam - DEADLINE AUG 9.

Summer Tennis Clinics:

  • June 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, & 27; July 9, 11, 16, & 18. Possible make up days are July 23 & 25.
  • Cost(s) are $50 per person for the entire summer; $75 per family; or $7 per person per class
  • NOTE: Make-ups will be held for the Tuesday classes on Wednesday and Thursday classes will be made up on the following Monday.
  • Boys & Girls Ages 5-8; 9-9:45 a.m.
  • Boys & Girls Ages 9-12; 10-11 a.m.
  • Boys & Girls Ages 13 & UP (High School Players): 11-Noon
